Prologue
Does happy endings really exist? With all that love, trust, peace and infinity? Maybe yes or maybe not. It didn't matter. They weren't a princess and two princes, and the boys weren't much less fighting for her love.
One of them hurt her heart and the other helped when she needed? Yeah. It was the only answer that made sense if they thought about fairy tales and their happy endings. If they thought about the promises of forever.
But their promise was already broken long ago, when a young guy decided to walk his own path in hate, completely forgetting that he would change the lives of many people leaving.
Egoism, compassion, lies, omissions, blood, death. Is all this even part of a fairy tale? No. And they weren't in a fairy tale. It could be thriller or horror. Where you have no where to run and you are forced to face your fears with your head up, and with all of your courage.
Was the princess independent? One more proof that they weren't part of a fairy tale. One of the princes drowned in his own hate? One more proof that they weren't part of a fairy tale. The other prince would fulfill a promise to carry for a lifetime? Yes it was close to a fairy tale.
But what to do when your castle is crumbling, and who you need is far away?

This fanfic is a picture of the feelings of the three main characters - Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura – of the mangá, which now is in the middle of the third war.
I decided to start writing it after the implant of Itachi's eyes into Sasuke, I thought it might be nice to write about how he is trying to achieve his goal to destroy Konoha, and how Naruto and Sakura want to bring Sasuke back .. And well, it came out!
Now let's go to the fic. I was inspired to write some more parts in this story after I read the beautiful fanfic LITHIUM made by the gourgeous Hisui Ai! Unfortunately, the fic is in portuguese (our main language) and you may have some issues to read it :/ The drabble was really touching, even being small, I loved it!
The music and the drabble inspired me a lot. As she said, the music fits perfectly with the couple. Who does not know what song I'm talking about, I'm talking about Lithium byEvanescence.
I have always been a fan of the band, really is one of my favorite bands, and their songs always inspire me to write SasuSaku.
