Summary: When Sonic loses his memory, Amy has to take care of him, and tell him all abut his past.

After Sonic and his friends had finished battling Metal, Amy had returned home, after saying good-bye to her two comrades, Cream and Big. . .
.
"C'mon, ya can do it!" Amy yelled, cheering on her chao. Today hadn't been her day. She had been robbed by some man, and ended up with no money for the week, and she was forced to go to the one place she sucked at winning. . . the Chao Gardens. She usually didn't bet on the chao, but this was a life or death situation.
Amy watched her chao lose in defeat, and gave up. "Oh well. . ." she said, sighing. She then looked up to see her hero, Sonic. "Sonikku!" she yelled, hugging her hero like there was no tomorrow. The blue hedgehog desperately tried to breathe, and Amy finally let go of him.
"H-Hi Amy! What are you doing here?" Sonic stammered.
"Well, I lost all my money, so I came here to bet on my chao. But you can help me, right/??" she asked, looking at her hero.
"Uh. . . I guess?" said Sonic.
"Thank you Sonic! I won't forget this!" she said, hugging her hero even more.
"I gotta go off Ames, there's something I gotta do, so just meet me at the Mystic Ruins at three," said Sonic, running off.

Amy waited at the Mystic Ruins, looking for her hero. I thought he would at least be here earlier than me. thought Amy. After 30 minutes, Amy was about to go home before a blue blur ran past her. She immediately stopped Sonic. "You're late!" she yelled in an aggravated tone. "Do you know how long I've been waiting?"
"What are you talking about?" he asked, and Amy frowned. "You said you'd meet me here so you could let me stay over your house, duh!"
"Who are you?" asked Sonic.
"Sonic? Stop it, it's not funny!" Amy said, angry at Sonic. But then she realized something. "It couldn't be. . . you have amnesia?" asked Amy. "I gotta take ya home right away!" she said, pulling Sonic off.
