I felt Aki today, so I wrote this! I hope you like it, and if so, please review!

Hope

In the very same second his cobalt eyes looked into yours, you know it.

Those eyes, which claim confidence in himself, knowing he's gonna make a change.

And how awesome it would be if you would be able to tell him he already changed you. Because that type of gaze was what you needed from the start, eyes that assured he didn't believe you were the witch you are. But, how to tell him? If everything you do is with the goal to hurt people? You can't even talk to him without sticking a thorn in him, as the bad, black rose you are.

You look back at him. Oh, how happy would you be if he could understand at least a bit of all the pain you were going trough. Seems impossible someone would do it. Everyone only saw the mask, except Divine, but even he seemed to be unable to see you anymore.

You're alone. That's not new, you remember. And you force yourself to remember it. Because a single sign of weakness may destroy you again, worse than before. So, as he attacks, you embrace the walls you built around you and don't let him get to you. He can't help you. Only Divine can.

"Izayoi," He screams, from the other side of the field. You narrow your eyes, repeating in your mind, don't fall, don't fall. What was up with him? Why did he want to 'help' you?

He can't help you.

You saw Divine, smirking at you, watching with a disapproving glare at your opponent. He may know that young man, still older than you, can make a change, and he doesn't like it. You can't let Divine get to him.

And then, you start to waver. What was that, that weird feeling creeping your veins onto your heart and making it beat faster? Definitely, it wasn't hope. Hope didn't exist for people like you. Witches.

People kept screaming horrendous things at you, but you ignore them, or, at least, try to do it. 'Witch! Killer! Destroy her! Finish that witch!'. At this point, those yells only irritates you, but you remember how they made you cry? You were only a child, yet they had no pity for you. So, why would you have pity for them now? You hope this man doesn't listen to them.

They assured to be better people than Satellite's citizens. You don't think so. For some reason, you believe some of Satellite's persons are better, because they got it hard, and by being forced to live in misery, they know how it feels, to be rejected by society. And now, this man, the Star of Satellite, is a proof of your hypothesis.

There's no salvation for you, you whisper.

Your two dragons collide, dark red vs. pure white. You laugh inside, thinking, how your dragon represented the evil witch inside you, and how his was the good person he surely was. The monsters fought, almost in a beautiful dance, and you watch how Stardust Dragon embrace so tightly your Black Rose. Why nobody held you like that, ever? Even a card received more love than you.

And in that moment, you see them.

Those deep blue eyes, staring right at you, as if reading your black soul. You can see the trust, confidence, security in them… you wish that was true, and those feelings were directed at you. Why is he so sure?, you wonder. Not even Divine looked at you like that, ever.

That feeling again. Your chest beats faster as you look back at him. It fills and swells your heart with something new and unknown for you…

You let yourself believe it's hope. Hope that would take you out of the disguise you wear, out of the mask that covered your face, out of the walls you created around yourself, out of the deep void your heart was...

But, deep inside you, you know it's all in vane.

There's no hope for people like you.

Hope is nothing.
