Honestly, i don't know where this came from.
She sat in her room with all the curtains drawn back as a storm raged across the island. This was the only time she ever had her windows open, when a storm passed through. She pulled back the sleeve on her jacket and her eyes followed the thin red lines covering each arm. She turned her head and looked at them with a hallow look in her eye, like she had never seen them before. But of course she had, she was the one who pulled the knife across her skin.
A crash of thunder; a flash of lightning; the sound of the pouring rain; she lived for this. The terror of the storm didn't bother her. Pulling a knife out of her pocket, she proceeded to cut more lines into her flesh.
Why? Why did they leave me here? How could they abandon me like this?
Placing the knife on the ground, she continued to look at her arms with the same curious expression; as if she was wondering how they got there.
They don't care anymore. They could have taken me with them, they could have come and visited, but nothing…day after day…saving the world while leaving me here…alone.
Standing up she walked outside, through her door open to the elements. She had once been a Princess of Heart. But now she was Queen of the Storm. The rain quickly socked her cloths and washed the wet blood from her arms. Wind blew her hair wildly around her face.
Her friends had abandoned her, she had nothing left to live for, but something kept her from giving up completely. She no longer felt the sting from the wounds; she didn't feel much of anything anymore.
No one had understood her like them. No one cared for her like them. And now, they were gone. Nothing would ever bring her back completely from this abandonment. Holding her arms palms up, she once again looked at every line. Perhaps someday, she would be whole again. Until that day, everything had a crimson hue.
Like I said, I don't really know about this. Please don't shot me, I was kinda moody today.
Anyway! For those who didn't catch it, this is Kairi, and her friends are Sora and Riku. Since Kairi obviously didn't care to show some skin in KH2, Perhaps this is after KH2? When they leave again.
Anyway, Review and stuff. Go ahead and shoot me for making this. You just don't see very many stories with Kairi being emo ect. Most of those belong to Xion, Namine and Roxas lol
