The Last Dance

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon. It belongs to Satoshi Tajiri, Game Freak, Nintendo, and TV Tokyo/Shogakukan Production Co. Ltd. I only own the fic's plot.

A/N: Another Advanceshipping fic! No hates okay? Just LOVE. An Inspired Story.

After the prom—our last prom ever, I was about to leave the building where the party was held when Ash dragged me to the 15th floor because he wanted to show me something.

"Where are we going?" I asked, but I got no reply. He led me to a room where the beautiful and colorful city lights could be seen. It was so beautiful. There were also pink and white rose petals scattered on the floor.

"You know May; I promised myself that I'll bring the girl I love here." He said, while I admire the view from the huge window of the room. I faced him and I said, "Wow, that girl is lucky! Who is she anyway?" I wish he did not notice the sadness in my voice. I admit that I am so in-love with Ash Ketchum. So impossible to stop. And that girl, whoever she is, is so lucky. "Oh, wait." Ash said as he went outside and closed the door, leaving me alone.

The door suddenly opened and it revealed Ash, but no one is with him. He came closer to me and he said, "Oh, she's here already!" I looked around. "Where is she?" He held my hand. "I'm holding her hand actually." He replied with a sweet smile. "What?" Instead of answering my question, the hand that was on his back was holding a bouquet of pink roses. He gave it to me and he said, "I've been keeping this secret for a long time and I know that this is a good opportunity to tell you that… I love you."

Silence struck the both of us... Then I finally asked, "Say it again please?"

"I love you May Maple." He said, looking me with those deep and beautiful brown eyes. "I love you May Maple from the bottom of my heart. You are my infinity. You are beautiful inside and out. You may get clumsy and silly at times, but it's all part of why I love you so much." I felt my heart jumped. It feels so great to hear that, especially from the person you love to bits. "I… love you too, Ash." I replied with a smile on my face.

He took a deep breath. "I wanted to be your last dance for the night." He admitted. He took out his phone and played "Far Away" by Nickelback. When the song started, he offered his hand and he asked, "Will you be my last dance, Miss May Maple?" I set the bouquet aside and I smiled at him. "Sure, Mister Ash Ketchum." We slow danced at the beat of the music.

"I love you May."

"I love you too Ash."

And then we felt each other's lips.

End.
