In the dark eassence of midnight a young boy sat all alone beneath the star-lit sky.
His hair was of a blue that shone in harmony with the light of the stars burning brightly above.
His eyes were grey and had an unusual piercing quality as if he could see right into ones soul.
And yet within his eyes there was a great sadness.
It was as if he had been touch by a great loss that was irrevocable.
Someone who had been something important to him was gone.
Removed from his life forever.
He'd never get him back no matter what he did no matter how far he travelled and he knew it.
That knowledge coupled with his father's death by his own hand was an actual pain in his body.
His soul.
His every fibre of existence.
And his heart.
But he knew it to be true and because of this that pain would be there always.
He closed his eyes breathing hard but the tears in his eyes just wouldnt stop.
How he hated the Guyver!
He hated what it had done to him and the lives of his friends.
It had forced him to slay the father he had loved.
And here was the cruel twist.
The Guyver was a part of him.
"Sho?"
Sho Fukamachi's body froze as he heard her voice.
It was her.
Mizuki Sigowa.
Sho had come all this was into the country-side from the hide-out to be alone and yet she had still found him despite his efforts.
Mizuki stood there bathed in moonlight.
Sho realised just how much this girl who he had known for what seemed to be forever had changed during the events of this nightmarish year.
The schoolgirl he had known who had once fainted at the sight of a zoanoid had grown up.
Now Mizuki was a woman strong and supportive although grace was something she had yet to acheive.
"Hi." Sho got up from the patch of grass he'd been sitting on.
He tried to seem light hearted for her benefit but he just wasnt in the mood.
Anyway even if he had been it would have been wasted.
Mizuki had always had an ability to read his mind and right at this moment she knew that his spirit was not at its highest.
Mizuki walked right up to him hands on hips almost comically.
"Why not just tell me?" she asked her voice soft and with a silken quality.
"Tell you what?" Sho snapped too tired to pretend any more.
"Tell me why you hurt so badly Sho Fukamachi." her response was simple and yet all she needed to say.
Sho sighed but it said more than words could have.
Why not?
After all the loss death and betrayal he needed company more than he ever thought he would.
And what of love?
As Sho looked into Mizuki Sigowa the love of his lifes feep brown eyes he realised just how much he'd like to know.

The End!
