Chapter 1-The Greeting
Miroku looked up and saw a pretty girl walking down the dirt path. He had never seen her before. He walked up to her.
"Hi. I'm Miroku. What's your name?" he said.
"Hi Miroku. My name is Kendai." She answered.
"I haven't seen you before. Are you new?" he asked.
"Sort of. Where's Kagome?"
"How do you know her?"
"A long story."
"Ok. She's with Kaede. Do you want me to take you there?"
"No thanks. I just wanted to know where she was so I could avoid her."
"Do you have something against her?" he asked suspiciously.
"No, I . . . "
Suddenly, Shippou popped out of the bushes.
"Help! He's after me!" He cried.
"Slow down, Shippou. What's wrong? Who's after you?" asked Miroku.
"Inuyasha!" said Shippou, looking around. "I need to find Kagome. She can help me."
"What did you do?" asked Kendai.
"Well, you see . . . " started Shippou, but a scream cut him off.
"That came from Sango's!" said Miroku.

A/n: Well, well, well. My first cliffhanger on my first Inuyasha fan fiction. How interesting. Well, hopefully you will review without flames. I wrote this very quickly so, please excuse the bad grammar. I already know it is short, but it seems much longer on a notepad, which is what I first wrote it on.
