Taffyta poked her telegum through the bushes.

"They say they aren't dating, but I am sure they are hiding something!" Taffyta whispered to Candlehead, who was snapping pictures of them through the bushes.

"What if they aren't?" Candlehead wondered out loud. "What if they really aren't dating?"

"And the 'We are holding hands and blushing act' definitely says, we are best buddies, Candlehead!" Taffyta rolled her eyes. "So like best buddies."

"Why don't we just let them tell us then, if they really are dating?" Candlehead asked.

"Candlehead, Candlehead," Taffyta giggled. "We don't let them tell us first because it's SO MUCH MORE FUN! "

"Why?" Candlehead asked again. "I don't really get it."

Taffyta just rolled her eyes and continued spying on the two of them.

Suddenly, they heard Vanellope say something.

"Is it just me, or is that candy bush shaking?" Vanellope asked, confused.

"Maybe it's just a squirrel." Rancis suggested.

"I'm not taking any chances with the peppermintrazzi ." Vanellope whispered. "Let's go to my secret cave."

Rancis nodded in agreement.

They hopped in their candy karts and drove to the secret cave.

Taffyta hopped out of the bush, upset.

"Look what you done, Candlehead!

"What did I do-"

"Wait." Taffyta covered Candlehead's mouth with her hands.

"I know!" Taffyta jumped up and down with glee. "Let's try something that I have been dying to try out!"

"What?" Candlehead asked.

"Let's try to play," Taffyta's eyes glinted. "Candy Spies."

"Ok, guys!" Taffyta called a secret group meeting for all of the racers who want to know if the two are dating or not. "Who is signing up?"

Candlehead passed the signup sheet to Taffyta, and she looked to see how many racers want to know.

"Let's see….. Jubileena Bing-Bing, Snowanna Rainbeau, Crumbelina DiCaramello, Gloyd Orangeboar, Swizzle Malarkey, Minty Zaki, Minty Sakura, Torvald Batterbutter, Sticky Wipplesnit, Adorabeezle Winterpop, Citrusella Flugpucker, Nougetsia Brumblestain, all of the candy citizens and, oh, let me add Taffyta Muttonfudge and Candlehead.

Taffyta's eyes widened as she saw how many racers were in this little spying game.

Then her eyes widened bigger than dinner plates.

"ALL OF THE CITIZENS?!" Taffyta cried in disbelief.

Gloyd shrugged, leaning his back on the wall. "All of us want to know if there is a spark between the pretty boy and the prin- I mean president."

"Yeah!" Every racer in the room agreed.

"Here's the plan." Taffyta explained to all the racers.

"We set up a blind date for both of them, and then we watch their moves and determine if the look romantic or not. Taffyta paused. "Undercover."

"What if they find out our plan?" Candlehead asked.

"Then candy folks are so desperate to know, they won't say a word!" Crumbelina grinned. 'Even Sour Bill!"

"This plan is so cool!" Swizzle grinned with delight. "I can't wait for us to begin our awesome plan!"

"Me too…." Taffyta grinned. "Me too."
