Gotta Bake

Gotta Bake!

As soon as Don stepped into his warm house after a long day at the studios, before he could shut the door and loosen the buttons on his overcoat, he found himself face to face with a fresh strawberry cupcake. It was then pushed towards his face so quickly that he had to spring his mouth open before the smooth icing ended up all over him. Looking suspiciously at the chef, he carefully took a bite, so as not to harm his delicate pianist fingers.

"Oh, hey Don! Fancy meeting you here. Nice, huh?" Cosmo commented cheerfully, closing the door behind Don, who was standing with his eyes shut, slowly chewing on the cake, savouring the flavour. It sure was nice, and Cosmo, the chef, could tell from the look on the recipient's face that he was enjoying it. The cake had a soft, fluffy, light texture and the bright pink icing was creamy and sweet, complementing the cake perfectly.

"Mmm.. tolerable." Don shrugged and grinned as he took off his coat.

"Gee thank-" Cosmo's jaw dropped. "Tolerable? Just tolerable?!" he clutched his heart dramatically and gasped, apparently heartbroken.

"Oh cut it out! I just didn't want your confidence balloon to burst, that's all."

"Oh, well thanks! So ya did like it! It was the best cake you've ever had after all." Cosmo replied, grinning again. He noticed Don staring at the remainder of the cupcake. "Have another bite" he held the cake up to Don's mouth, and as soon as Don opened his mouth for the next bite Cosmo snatched the cake away and took a bite for himself, grinning. "'orry.." he chomped quickly "'oo good'a share".

Don chuckled before he grabbed Cosmo's tie and pulled him closer until their noses were almost touching.

"Surely you can spare one more bite.." Don glanced at the cake, and gazed into Cosmo's eyes, suggestively. Cosmo understood immediately.

"That's a good point, ya gotta keep your energy up" Cosmo leant back and pushed the rest of the cake into Don's mouth and stared while Don savoured the second mouthful, licking his lips.

"Y- ya missed some" Cosmo spoke softly as he wiped a speck of icing from the corner of Don's mouth and licked it off his finger.

"You missed some too." Don pressed his lips against Cosmo's. The icing tasted even better when combined with the taste of Cosmo's soft, moist, strawberry lips.

"There's more in the kitchen.. if you're good." Cosmo grinned shyly into Don's brown eyes.

"I'll try my best. May I?" Don smiled as he ran his hands down Cosmo's chest and abdomen until they reached his belt buckle.

"Mm.. please." Cosmo sighed and made a mental note to bake strawberry cakes more often.
