In the cover of the night
Disclaimer: Naruto does not belong to me. So please don't sue.
Summary: After all everyone has that little part which they don't show anyone. SasuNaru. One-shot. Yaoi.
It was like this every time. A day spent acting like they hated each other, shouting and saying hurtful things to one another. Acting like everyone expected them to. They were supposed to be the eternal rivals; they would always push each other on harder.
But they didn't want to be rivals; they didn't want to have to act this way. But they only did so because it was expected of them. It drove them crazy. Everyone else seemed to have it good compared to them. Life was unfair. Love wasn't supposed to be secret and forbidden; it was pure and was the kind of thing you could tell everyone about.
But they couldn't, he had worked so hard to earn the peoples trust and to become hokage, revealing that he was in a relationship with someone of the same sex, and the person being an ex-traitor of Konoha, would destroy all their trust and would paint his lover in a darker light. And he could never do anything that would hurt his partner.
At least in the night, when no one was looking, they could be themselves. They could do what they want, all the walls of civility broken down in the curtain of the night. It was intoxicating, they hated how they had to act during the day and yet in some strange way they were thankful for it. For if they were allowed to act as normal couples would, their nights wouldn't be this intense.
They would press their lips forcefully onto each others, hands roaming across each others body. Their skin on fire, a feeling which grew within them and would not go away until they consummated their act of love. They were addicted to each other. So very addicted.
"We should stop," the raven haired one whispered into his lover's ear before nipping on his earlobe gently." "No." came his ragged reply, the blonde's hands fumbling on his partners belt buckle.
"They will find out one day."
"Let them, on that day we will finally be free."
"We should stop." The raven one said again.
"No." came the same reply. "Please…we have to; I don't want them to hurt you."
"Make me." "I can't."
"Then don't say that we should."
"I won't." "Do you love me?"
"Yes."
"Then show me."
"I will."
They couldn't resist each other. After all they were made for one another. And were so, deeply in love. One day people would find out, and they would try to ruin them. Their love was what made their life worth living for and also what would destroy it for them. The more they loved the deeper the fell. Spiraling downward into the trap that fate had made for them.
But none of that mattered. All that mattered was now. Where they could be with each other, in the cover of the night away from the prying eyes of the outside world.
The cover of night allowed many sins.
ENDA/N: admittedly not one of my better works. I felt that I just needed to write something to get the creative juices flowing again. Reviews and Constructive Criticism are welcome as usual. And I am very desperate for advice on how to improve my writing style. Until My next Fic I say good night.
