"Mistletoe" (One shot Shadilver Yaoi)
It was a cold, snowy night in December. Several familiar figures were heading towards a house, carrying gifts.
"Damn….it's so cold."
"That's because you live on a tropical island, Knuckles."
It was a Christmas party. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Cream, Shadow, and Silver were heading to Amy's house for a party. She had been planning this for weeks.
"I hope there isn't eggnog there. You know I'm allergic."
"Okay Tails."
Everyone came into a large living room, placing the gifts on the table.
"Yay! You all made it!" Amy yelled, waving to everyone.
"Yeah yeah. I told you I would." Sonic replied, rolling his eyes.
"Great! Now we can officially start the party."
Everyone sat down in different places, except for Shadow and Silver; who were standing up, looking at each other nervously.
"I SWEAR there's something there between them." Amy said smiling.
"Amy! You and your Yaoi-fangirl self." Knuckles yelled back.
Shadow and Silver both blushed at this, looking down.
"Hey Shadow…."
"Yeah?"
"Can I see you in the Kitchen?"
"Okay. Hey guys….we'll be right back."
"Oh here we go!" Amy said, trying to hold back a smile.
Shadow and Silver nervously walked into the kitchen; Shadow leaned on the counter and Silver stood near him.
"So what's up?" Shadow asked, looking puzzled at Silver.
"You….know I've had feelings about you…for some time now."
"What? Why tell me now?"
Silver began blushing more.
"Well..I figured with the joy of the holidays, it would make it easier to express my feelings…."
He leaned closer to Shadow.
"Really?"
Shadow got a surprised look on his face, which quickly changed to blushing and a small smile.
"You know…"
He moved closer to Silver.
"I've…had the same feelings."
Silver looked surprised. He always thought someone like the Ultimate Life form had no time for something like love or relationships. Suddenly he looked up.
"…Shadow."
"Hmm?"
"Mistletoe."
"Perhaps…fate?"
"Maybe."
Shadow and Silver looked at each other, blushing. They put their hands on each other's shoulders and moved closer.
"Maybe it is meant to be."
They slowly moved closer, eventually having their lips touch. Silver could feel Shadow's wet tongue go into his own mouth. Suddenly Silver got scared and moved away.
"Shadow wait."
"What is it?"
"What will the others think?"
"That doesn't matter. As long as we have each other. No one can hurt us."
Silver smiled and put his shoulder on Shadow's.
"Don't leave me."
"I won't."
