Tears and a Lullaby

Ch.1

"It was mid October and I was trying to get Anna ready for her school play. I remember she played a pumpkin because she kept saying she hated the color. She loved to act. She asked me what to do if she got scared, or butterflies, as we called them. I told her to just think of our lullaby and I would be their. I wish I could've been. I had to work..sigh.. if only she was alive, I would, apologize for never being thier. She ased to ask me what happened when we die. I always told her to 'Ask me later', or 'don't worry about it'. And you know what I'm not even sure myself.

"I know this is hard Bella, but can you tell me of the days leading up to her death?"asked Dr. Kruth, county psychiatrist, and writer. " Just start where ever you feel."

" Um, o.k. Well we were in the car headed for Anna's audition to be in Midville Highs rendition of A Mid Summer Nights Dream...

One week earlier...

"Mom hurry up we're gonna be late!" yelled seventeen year old Anna from the back seat, whiletrying to get her fairy costume on.

"I''m going as fast as I can! Ok."

"Mother we're gonna be late!"

"Oh don't worry about it, we'll be fine. Just remember, step, step, twirl, and curtsy." Drilled Bella.

"I know, I know. I've been over it like a thousand times, not like you would know."

"Hey, I'm sorry, but I have to work to keep money in this house. Especially since your father ran out on us."

"Don't drag him into this, after all it is your fault he left!" yelled Anna.

"Anna Marie you do not talk to me like that!"

"What ever. Just let me out, we're her."

Ch.2 The Accident

Anna had made it to her the play and so far it was going great! Her beg scene was about to come up...

"I am the fairy Queens sevant I go through bushes, though valleys, through..."

She began to cough, and fell to her knees. Blood was pouring from her mouth. The audience began to gasp and even scream.

Some one had called 911 and their were people all around her trying to see what was wrong.

The ambulance arrived and took her away. When Bella walked into the auditorium, late from work, as always.
