This is a 100 word drabble about Merlin's father.
His Father
Merlin has no idea who his father is.
He doesn't know anything about him.
His mother refused to tell him anything when he asked about it.
His neighbours told him Hunith had arrived alone and pregnant nearly twenty years ago.
Merlin used to dream his father was a nobleman.
He dreamed his father would come and take him to live in a beautiful castle.
(He achieved that on his own!)
But his father never came.
It used to really bother and depress him.
But it doesn't any more.
Because Merlin has Gaius.
And he couldn't wish for a better father.
