There is a story told now-a-days about a family. A family with a mother, a father, an older sister, and two little brothers, a lovely family but a much darker one than your's and mine. The mother was a woman of Asian culture, with pale skin that represented the skin of a porcelain doll, her hair was made out of pure black silk and her eyes sparkled like brown sparkles. Her name was Eva, a lawyer for the City of Aspen, a city in Colorado. The father was a man of white culture, with sun tanned skin and shabby brown hair; his eyes were a light green color that changed with his moods. His name was Angel, the chief of police for the City of Aspen. The two little brothers were twins and a mixture of the white and Asian culture. One was named Noah, a boy with the brown eyes and brown hair; the mixture of his mother's and father's traits. His brother, Andrew, had black hair that was as silky as his mother and had the eyes of his father. They both went to Aspen Elementary, and both are B average kids. The oldest and only daughter was named Shelby; she got all her features from her father except her pail skin which she inherited from her mother. She was home schooled most of her life because of her mental stability.
Shelby's mental stability was that of Schizophrenia. She would hear the voices of dead loved ones, friends of the family who passed away tragically, and many others who died. When she was younger Shelby used to have this friend who would visit her, a man who was a pure black with red eyes and a red mouth. He would visit Shelby when she was sad, scared, mad, or even when she was lonely. Shelby didn't tell the name of this man she only called him Papa. Shelby's mother dubbed this man as an entity that her daughter created when she was alone, but when this "Make Believe Friend" started to interfere with Shelby's learning is when her father stepped in. He yelled at his daughter telling her the man was nothing but make believe and not real. That was the first time that Eva and Angel felt the full blown power of Shelby. Shelby raised her voice at her father and extended her arm her small hand creating a fist, her father started to make a gurgling sound in his throat and couldn't breathe, and all Shelby did was stand there with a small frown on her face. Shelby hand descended when "Papa" shook his head at her and placed his hand on her shoulder. That night was the first time where Eva and Angel both agreed to take her to the Insane Asylum the next town over.
The next day her mother slipped enough sleeping inducement to knock Shelby out for at least two hours. Enough time for them to take her to the asylum and drop her off, but there was a little twist in their plan, the twins. They stopped them at the door and asked where they were taking their older sister, they said that she was very sick and needed to be taken away for a while and the twins believed that. When the parents put her in the car and started to drive to the next town it started to get colder and colder in the car, even with the windows up and the ac off. When they arrived they took Shelby in and admitted her, and left without a second glance. That night the house of Shelby's childhood caught on fire without any real cause, and there weren't any survivors.
Shelby awoke to the stench of bleach and rubbing alcohol. Shelby looked around to notice that he room she was in wasn't hers. It didn't have the dark blue walls with blood red trim, or have stuffed animals all over the ground. Shelby sprung up and did a 360 trying to find the only person she knew that would be there and explain to her, but he wasn't there either. She was alone and confused wanting only to see the person that wouldn't leave her. "Papa!"
