Sabrina: hi everyone! this is my first story so try not to be to harsh. This is just a cute little fluff story about yuuki and her first night in headmaster cross's house. don't worry. I'll hopefully become a better writer (eventually…). Well now, on with the story!

p.s. I don't own vampire knight or any of it's characters, but I sooo wish I did.

DON'T LEAVE

"alright. don't worry she safe with me." a weary headmaster cross said to the young girl's worried older brother. "thank you so much for this. I come and visit as soon as possible" the then very young kaname replied. They then said their goodnights and the poor headmaster was left alone with the small child of he's recently deceased friend. The sad part was, he didn't know a thing about kids. "what have I gotten my self into! I don't know how to raise a kid! Much less a pureblood" thought the retired hunter. As panic crept over him, the five year old girl sneezed. He exploded. "Oh no! she sick! She could be dying! She could have caught so rare deadly dieses out in the cold! Some one call an ambulance!". while watching then headmaster run around like a chicken missing it's head, yuuki started to giggle. Then, when he tripped over his own two feet, she burst into laughter. It was the most beautiful sound the man had ever heard. It was a laugh that could light up a pitch black room. When she was finally finished, the chairman mumbled, with a hint of annoyance in his voice "it wasn't that funny..". They both giggled at that.

"Well, it's about time you get to bed." " how come ?!" complained the small girl. "Oh , so now you talk. Well you have to get bed, or .. a horrible monster will eat you!" he shouted to spook the little girl into sleeping. "o-okay" she stuttered, with a noticeable quiver in her voice. The chairman grinned at that. "alright" he said, "I'll go fetch you something to sleep in".

He led her to the room she'd be in until he had a proper room set up for her. He left for a quick second and returned with a small set of pj's kaname had left with her. He left so she could change into them and then returned to tuck her in.

As he turned to leave, he felt he small hands rap around his much larger wrist. "don't leave" he heard her whisper, just barely audible enough for him to hear. He looked down at her but she had already drifted of to sleep. He couldn't bare to just leave her, so he pulled up a chair, and sat there all night watching the abandoned child sleep…

Sabrina: well, what do you think! If you liked it, send me a review! If not, constructive criticism is welcomed. But that doesn't mean flames. well thanks for reading ! I know it's short and kinda sucks, but it's my first one so don't be to brutal!
