Somnio Eternus

This is just a short poem I wrote of how I think Hermione's mind works. She doesn't care about what others think so this seems to fit. Please review! BTW the title has nothing to do with the actual poem, it's just a story I was reading while I wrote it.

Somnio Eternus

They tell you what to eat

How to eat it,

They tell you what to wear

How to wear it,

But why?

So you can look prettier?

To look thinner, taller?

You can't judge people by how they look

No one is perfect.

If you're not thin

You're not pretty?

That's a lie

A trap

Yet we fall into them every day.

We don't need clothes

To look better.

We don't need shoes

To look taller

We don't need diets

To look thinner.

Beauty isn't everything.

Don't forget who you are

Don't forget to be nice

Live life as yourself

Live life to the fullest

Leave your insecurities behind

Let others think what they want

Because you are beautiful

No matter what.
