Hello everyone. Here is new crossover story that will have Hiccup and his fellow Vikings meet an famous Roman. I hope you enjoy it. :)

It is the 15th of March 44 BC, a day that will change the course of the Roman Republic forever. It is a day where an famous assassination is going to take place, which includes an famous Roman dictator and a group of a senators who call themselves "Liberators" as they believe that they are going to save the republic from tyranny.

The dictator is called Gaius Julius Caesar, he is the most powerful Roman in the world. He is known for defeating the Gallic tribes and conquering Gaul, he is also known for crossing the Rubicon river and causing a Civil war where he defeated his rival Pompey. Alongside that he has fought with Cleopatra as to install her as Queen of Egypt.

He is well-loved by the Roman people and hated by the Senators, who believe that he is acting like a King. The Roman Republic was born because of the fact that their last King was banished, an act that gave birth to the Republic as well as giving the idea that one man holding power is a terrible and shouldn't happen at all.

Unfortunely for the Roman senators, they are facing a guy that loves being in the centre of attention. It appeared that Julius Caesar wanted the crown, despite him refusing it three times in the carnival of Lupercalia. This act infuriated the senators as they thought it was going too far. It also helped the conspirators feel more determined to kill Caesar.

So today on the 15th of March, Julius Caesar went to the Portico of Pompey despite his wife's pleas to do otherwise. He arrived at the Portico of Pompey, which he entered as he eventually found himself surrounded by the conspirators, who began to stab Julius Caesar without any mercy at all. It was both a frenzy and chaotic as they all stabbed Caesar.

Julius Caesar tried to fight back, which he tried for a while as he hoped to get away. Unfortunely for Julius Caesar, he found out that Brutus is among the conspirators, this stunned and horrified Caesar, who was eventually stabbed by Brutus before falling down to the ground as he covered his head with his toga in order to not show weakness.

The conspirators ran straight onto the streets in triumph, where they announced that Julius Caesar is dead as well as the republic being from tyranny. It didn't go as the conspirators had planned, because the Roman people were, at first, horrified at the fact that their hero is dead, before they got angry and chased the conspirators out of Rome.

It appears that for Julius Caesar, he is dead and finished. But in this story, fate has other plans for him as he is going to find himself living in a different time to his own, where he will see things that he wouldn't have seen in his time. It was clear that fate itself, wants Julius Caesar to have a new perspective on himself and life in general.
