Do NOT ask... Just... Don't ask... The kids are all older... Sofia is 19, and the twins are 21... Merlin knows how old Cedric is lol

Cedric was walking through the castle aimlessly, having nothing to do for the first time in... Well merlin knows how long! He pass by a door and hears the two princesses talking. Nothing unusual really. He pays it no mind till he hears his name. What in Merlin's name would they be saying HIS name for? He crept closer and listened.

"Cedric CAN do any spell you need!" Sofia's voice. She always defended him.

"No he can't! Just last week... Why I only wanted my dress to be turned yellow! That's it yellow from red! And he turned it Orange!" Ambers voice rang out.

"That was your fault, dear sister, he told you he needed it to be white first or the two colors would mix! And even still, EVERYONE loved your dress!" Sofia crossed her arms.

"Why do you defend him so much Sofia? What is he to you but a Sorcerer?" Yes, What is he to her?

"Because, I know Mr. Cedric is a great sorcerer! He's just surrounded by so much doubt... That he doubts himself, and he's not only a sorcerer, he's my mentor. Like he has been for the past 5 years! Geez Amber, Sometimes I think the people are correct in assuming blondes are dumber than the rest!" Oo! Ouch! That was mean. Cedric covered his mouth to stop from gasping. He had never seen Sofia like this.

"Sofia! That was rude! All because of HIM! You always act like this when anyone mentions him!"

"No Amber I get like this when people don't give him the respect he rightfully deserves!"

"I swear Sofia, if I didn't know any better I'd say you loved him!" With that she left out the side door and Sofia was standing alone, fuming.

"I do NOT love him! I just... Respect him... And care for him... And get mad when people... Mistreat him... And think about him... And... Oh dear Merlin!" Her eyes widened as realization hit. "I do love him"

Cedric backed away from the door at this point. This was NOT what he expected when he went for a walk. Maybe he should just stay in his quarters from now on.

"Cedric don't leave. I know you're there. Your not very quiet." Merlin's Mushrooms... What is he going to do now?
