Summary: Time is of the essence.

A forbidden touch against her cheek. A light touch from his lips to hers.

"Well well. You only have... exactly four hours from now. You can try your luck and find them. Or... just take up my offer. Ah well. Watching you chase after them does trill me. I hope the next we meet, it will be a different kind of meeting... "

Time starts now...

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.

The clock couldn't remind her more of the current situation at hand. Hair fell over her face messily as she tried to find a way out of this problem. How was she supposed to find her friends in the mean times. Think think. Where would he hide her precious friends? A place where she would never think of? A place where she definitely wouldn't look because it was so familiar? Does he follow the rules of ' the safest place is the most dangerous place '?

Sigh. Sweat. Hurried actions. Immense brainstorm. Continuous thinking.

Where? Where? Where?

Seriously, this man is going to be the end of her. Why would he take her friends? He knew they were so important in her life. They brought sunlight into her dimmed life, as cliche as it sounds. They stood by her when she was sad, always offering silent solace and comfort. And when she was happy, they just fade into the background, there but not obvious, letting her take the glory as she had earned. Only at times will they make their presence known to her other friends. So. Why. Why. How did he find their hiding places? She had been extra careful not to let it slip out.

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Time is still passing.

Moving legs. Stairs being trampled on. Rooms being searched. Houses being bombarded. Hidden bushes and tree houses clawed upon.

Sweaty and panting heavily, Sakura dropped to the ground in the forest. Her face was devoid of hope.

Tick. Tock. TIck. Tock.

Her analog watch, still ticking to remind her of the time. Its now 11 pm. Great. Three hours had passed.

My friends...

Sob. Sob. Hushed crying.

I want my friends back... Sasuke... Give them back...

Will she see them again? She needs them. They made her her. Wiping her tears, she made up her mind. She wouldn't mind sacrificing a bit of her for their safety. Walking to the Uchiha mansion, she doesn't realise she had just signed her life to Uchiha Sasuke. Entering his house with timid steps, she toughen her appearance out even though she was quivering in fear in the inside.

"Sasuke, give them back!" Sakura shouted.

" No, " Sasuke confidently answered.

Finally realising she had no choice but to beg, she silently asked for more courage.

" I give up... Give them back! Give me my friends!!" Sakura begged.

" You couldn't find them? I'm kind of disappointed. After all, you'll soon be bearing my name on yours. But you do remember the deal right? " Sasuke answered.

" Uchihas always live up to their promises. Remember that well... " Sasuke told her.

Walking away, he cast the small genjutsu spell away. Suddenly, two soft toys appeared as if by magic in front of her. Tossing those soft toys - two large dogs with big curious eyes - into her hand, he stepped closer to her.

My friends... Max and Hurricane!

" I do enjoy winning..." Sasuke said before completely entering her comfort zone.

Doop.

The two soft toys fell to the ground.

In the end, who can win the demon? He is legendary Uchiha Sasuke. No one. No one can escape him. Checkmate. Welcome to his game.

A won kiss.

Another kiss.

Another kiss.

And more.

The sound of clothes being removed and dropped to the floor.

A grunt. A moan. A scream.

And finally, a smirk.

A final greeting - happy birthday.
