A/N: A silly little snippet - all I could think about after seeing that scene in episode 2.21.

"I want you two on the guests," Cal told Torres and Loker. "Two hundred people in a room, someone knows something."

Loker blinked. "Two hundred? I'm thinking that's going to take a while."

"Some of the interstate guests have already gone home, they had flights to catch," Torres said.

"Plus," added Loker, once again taking fate into his own hands, "There's, you know, two hundred of them."

"Then I guess you better start making some calls, right?"

At Cal's hard look, Loker visibly shrank back. Torres hid her smirk, it would only turn the glare her way. "What are you two going to be doing?"

"We're going to focus on the wedding planner," said Gillian. "This was a six-figure wedding, regimented down to the last second."

"Which makes her the bloody Master at Arms," Cal supplied.

Gillian nodded. "But Cal, I've been thinking, there's no incentive for her to give us anything, the wedding itself was flawless. Direct confrontation will most likely be counter-productive."

"That's all right, love, I already made the appointment. Yesterday when we took the case, in fact," Cal told her, looking pleased with himself.

"Appointment?"

"Yeah, to discuss our upcoming nuptials."

Torres ignored Loker as he unsubtly nudged her with his elbow. She was too busy watching Gillian as she leaned back, folding her arms over her chest.

"Uh-huh, and what's my fiancé's name going to be?"

Cal grabbed her arm to pull her up from her chair. "Don't even know the name of the bloke you're marrying? Nothing sentimental about you, is there?"

"Cal," Gillian said as she was led away.

"No-no, love, it's Tom today. I know planning a wedding's stressful an' that, but try to keep it in your pretty little head, all right?"

"Whatever you say, honey. I'm only in it for the gifts."

The two of them were out the door by then. Torres and Loker followed more slowly as they watched their bosses continue to shamelessly flirting with each other.

Loker ducked his head towards her. "So is it just me or..."

"Nope, it is not just you," Torres confirmed.

"They're going undercover as a couple. Again."

"Yeah."

"Do they realise that's the third time this week?"

Torres rolled her eyes a little, watching the two heading off down the corridor together, walking so close they were almost literally joined at the hip. "Oh, I think they do," she said.
