The Breakfast Club II: Scene 1
You know you would seriously think that a jock, a cheerleader, a nerd, a Goth, and a rebel would have one heck of a time if they were all in detention together. You're obviously wrong because this has happened once before in a little town called Shermer, Illinois 60062. They all were the best of friends for one full day in detention and when I say full I mean at least a school day. All of this best friendliness didn't stay for long as they hit the real world where people of those stereotypes don't usually get along.
Monday April, 22nd Shermer Illinois:
"I Come home in the morning light, my mother says "When you gonna live your life right? Oh, mother, dear, we're not the fortunate ones, and girls, they want to have fu-un." The song girls just want to have fun blared in her room. Claire Standish was prancing about with her jet black hair brush, pretending it was the microphone and she was the star. She had just gotten out of the shower, getting ready for another day at school which was always a drag for the popular girl. She has wavy short red hair poofed up at just the right angles, and was very skinny.
Andrew Clark just rolled out of bed he has dirty blonde hair and teal eyes; & was a serious part of the wrestling team. "Andy" was his nickname, and he had an unbelievebly seriously over competitive dad. For his dad anything short of victory was completely unacceptable.
Then there was Alison who had a knack for wanting to run away. She has pale skin and brown eyes paired with auburn colored hair full of white dandruff. Alison had just rounded the top of shermer hill and the sun was shining behind her with delicate reds, oranges, yellows and the usual. She was skipping very violently in the raw glacial spring air, destination Shermer High School
John Bender the trouble maker. He had almost no intentions of going to school today but he wanted to go to get "smashed" with all of his buddies. Bender never usually went to school to learn, either going to school to skip it, or to make trouble for the dead set teachers. He had mahogany hair and brown eyes and it was a shaggy skater look.
Brian Ralph Johnson was the nerd of the breakfast club. As John Bender calls him, a parent's perfect little angel. He had fairly light feathered hair and cobalt blue eyes. The stereotype given to him perfectly fit his character at school, straight A's, not a trouble maker at all, whatsoever, case closed as far as I'm concerned.
8:00 A.M Shermer High School:
The group of youngsters traipsed into the shudder some Shermer High School: each dreading it for different reasons explained with common sense. It was ten minutes 'til first period for most this was arithmetic, but for Brian it was twelfth grade advanced social studies. They had the same math teacher too Mr. Brown, Oh the dreaded Mr. Brown.
Everyone in that classroom sat with their cliques in the rusty apricot undersized desks. Claire sitting with the in vogue kids, John Bender with the "rebels", Andy with; the jocks, and Alison with herself a lone wolf. Not one of them talked to each other out of fear of rejection of the cliques but Alison tried she had no friends to impress, but all each of them said was a simple hello and then looked away. Alison gives them a smirkish grin and turns away thinking t herself, asking a question and knowing the answer.
Alison pondered over that question and so did Claire, John, Andy, and Brian. Until one brave soul "Claire" shot up and blabbed to John. This caused a lot of disruption at the usually quiet un-dramatic Shermer High School.
