Serenity awoke from her restful sleep to see Endymion sitting on her bed.She was startled to see him there, but was happy that he was the first thing she saw that morning.
"Endymion,my darling, what are you doing here?" Serenity asked with a smile.
"Observing you my love, I couldnt wait another minute to see your radiant face," Endymion replied.
"Oh Endymion," said Serenity with a light giggle.
Endymion knew that there was something else on his mind besides wanting to see his moon princess. He couldnt figure out the easiest way to say what was bothering him to the point of insanity, instead he remained silent. Although he could see in Serenity's eyes that she knew something was up.
"Endymion, are you sure you are alright," Serenity asked.
"Yes,but I must go," said Endymion
"Endymion...Endymion....Why...Why are you leaving?"Serenity asked with antisipation.
Before Serenity could finish her sentence, Endymion had gotten up and left her chambers. The room was filled with silence and depression. Serenity had gotten up and moved to the window to think. Although outside she was suprised to see Endymion open the gate to the castle and walking away with no second thoughts or regrets.
"ENDYMION...ENDYMION...DONT GO...IM SORRY," Serenity shouted.
He never turned back to even give his princess a second glance. Serenity felt the tears roll down her cheeks with every step that her knight took.
"What have I done...what have I done to chase away my only love," serenity asked herslef.
For weeks Serenity layed in bed and never got up. Her mother , Queen Serenity, tried everything to cheer her daughter up. The emptyness inside Serenity's face bothered Queen Serenity. The next day she ordered out her knights to go seek out her daughters long lost love.
Within weeks Serenity's knights had found Endymion and brought him back to Moon Kingdom. Endymion looked awful when he arrived at the castle. Serenity sensed the depression and emptiness inside Endymion's heart and ordered him to go sharpen himself up and get ready for his princess. Endymion agreed and went to get perfected.
When Endymion was presentable for his princess he walked up the steps to her chambers and opened the door with excitement. Laying on the bed was Serenity still in the same spot that he left her in.
"Serenity, I am so sorry I have gone and left you but I thought it was best," said Endymion.
"Endymion...I'm sorry for what I have done whatever I have done," said Serenity.
"Serenity you never did anything to me. Love did. I have always been afraid to reach out and love someone ever since my mom and dad died when I was young. Now that I have met you and now that I relize I love you I was afraid to let you know that because everyone that I have loved has ran away from me...but now that I was away from you I know that I cant be with out you," replied Endymion.
Serenity blushed and sat up and embraced her knight in her delicate arms with the most passionate hug.
"Endymion never leave me again,"said Serenity.
"Serenity my heart is yours to have and to keep," said Endymion.
"Oh Endymion...I'm glad your home where you belong," said Serenity.
"Serenity I love you and I never want to be with out you," said Endymion with a tear rolling his cheek.
"Darien I love you too always and forever I will protect you," said Serenity.
On her bed, on the very same night of his return Endymion and Serenity the worlds most romantic couple shared there very first kiss...
