Dark Angel – Max/Logan

You could never say that Logan was an overly emotional or melodramatic man. He provided truth to a world that lacked honesty. He delivered his truth in a melodramatic way, but he was not melodramatic, it was simply how he made his voice heard.

Unfortunately, compared to Max, no-one was down-to-earth. The girl made facts seem like fairytales she was such a realist. Maybe that was what happened when you spent most of your childhood in a government institution learning how to kill people, you didn't hear many fairytales.

She didn't realize it, but she had the potential to change the world. She was serene and confident, nothing could harm her. She wasn't cruel, but she did what she had to do to stay ahead of the darkness that had hounded her for years. Max may not have noticed it, but nowadays she did put her neck on the line for others. It wasn't about herself anymore, she helped others.

Max walked through a world of greed, lies, rot and grief and it washed off her silky skin as if she were made of glass. But she would never be that breakable. Because she was Max, designed to be perfect.
