Bella's POV
"It's a good thing you bulletproof." I sighed. "I'm going to need that ring. It's time to tell Charlie."
He laughed at the expression on my face. "Highly dangerous," he agreed. He laughed again and then reached into the pocket of his jeans. "But at least there's no need for a side trip."
He once again slid my ring into place on the third finger of my left hand.
Where it would stay -conceivably for the rest of eternity.
Edward grabbed my hand and pulled me off the ground. He slung me onto his back and ran to the waiting Volvo. He opened the door for me with a smug grin on his face. Edward got in the car and began his reckless driving to my house.
Now, I have to admit I was nervous. Telling my father that I was marrying (too young in his opinion) and to a guy (I smiled at the term) that he really didn't like that much. This was going to be interesting.
Edward was watching my many expressions with an amused look on his face. When I raised my eyebrows he burst out laughing.
"Not funny Edward," I said while frowning.
"It is too funny. Your fearless when it comes to vampires who want to torture you to death and watching them die, but telling your father your marrying me. Then you start the running and screaming," he chuckled lightly while he touched my face.
When we reached my house I was still nervous. Really nervous, come to think of it. What was he going to say? Do? Would he yell at me or hug me?
"Don't worry, Bella," Edward says taking my hand as walked in the front door.
"Hi, Bella,... Edward. I'm in the living room." Charlie called out. Edward pulled me in there. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.
"Err,... Dad? Me and Edward have something we wanna tell you," I said, looking to the floor.
Charlie's eyes widened. "Your Pregnant!"
I screamed, " NO, Dad. I'm not pregnant- we're... err.. Umm... getting married." I mumbled the last part hoping he wouldn't hear.
And with that, he fainted.
Like I said, I didn't think that this was a good idea. I looked at Edward who was smiling. "Should I call Carlisle?" he asked with a chuckle.
"Ya, sure," I muttered still staring at my father. "Maybe we should have feed him first?"
AN- Made as a oneshot, should I continue into a full story or not. Let me know.
