Daniel sat onto of his Restless Style desk, camera in hand. He sighed thinking back almost a week ago. His dad said he and Amber would make a great couple. Daniel rejected that offer right away. Yeah, they flirted, kissed, and had sex. Almost all best friends now a days have done that. But to Daniel, it just doesn't seem normal.
Just as his thoughts finished, Amber strolled into the room, wearing another one of her countless designs for their new fashion line. Exciting, isn't it? Sure, Daniel was getting into a business with his best friend, but he had high doubts as to if their friendship was going to last. He shook his head, and convinced himself that this would be good for him.
Amber smiled at him from across the room, at her reception desk. Daniel smiled faintly back, before looking back down at his camera. He strolled through the many pictures from the photo shoot for the premiere night. It had been such a huge success, but it was also the meaning of Danny to leave him once again. He had forgiven him, but it was going to be hard to let him go.
Amber looked great that night. Give it up for her to choose an amazing piece of fashion to wear on a hopefully-amazing-night. Daniel had quite a short flashback to that, too.
"I need you. Daniel, I need you in my life Friends or not."
'Amber...' he thought. Daniel could only think about her confessing her love. He guessed that it would have been developed over the months, even when she was with Cane. Even if he couldn't admit it to himself, Him and Amber looked awful hot together. They just had this remarkable chemistry that no one could say otherwise.
If it was up to him, he would be all over Amber. If it was up to Amber, they would take things amazingly slow. But, the final figure is Phyllis. His mother. Phyllis did not like Amber all too much, explaining the reason for not telling Danny that Amber and Daniel have had past relations. That was the reason why they couldn't be together.
Phyllis.
"Oh no, Danny. My son is not dating Amber. Right Daniel?""Right…"
Damn it. This isn't right. Daniel Romalotti had loved Amber since they met each other. Sure, he had Heather for a while, but everyone knew that wasn't going to happen. Hell, Daniel was hitting himself thinking why he even tried. He needed Amber. He imagined his future with Amber. His life. Amber was the one person to cheer him up, and wise versa. No, he was never going to admit to himself that he was just doing this for his mother.
He took out his cell phone. And pressed 'Amber' for contacts. He silently hoped that this would work. This relationship. His everything. And when he presses the send button, Amber's face glows brightly while she responds with 'I Love you too, Daniel.'
