Merlin was going to kill Arthur, yes, he was actually going to kill him this time.

No, he wasn't under any sort of curse, unless you count the curse of boredom.

He knew after Arthur was a prat, but this was just plain cruel.

'Polishing is fun, would you not agree?' George grinned.

Merlin gritted his teeth as he polished a sword, imagining stabbing someone with it.

'Did you know brass rhymes with grass?'

Oh dear, here came the brass jokes.

'Listen here, I have an even better joke. What's brown and sticky?'

'A stick?'

'No, mud, hehehe,' George laughed insanely and awkwardly. Merlin edged away from him.

'Brass is a fascinating metal. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc; the proportions of zinc and copper can be varied to create a range of brasses with varying properties…'

Now really, what had Merlin done to deserve this? Ok, so he'd been missing for 2 days, supposedly in the tavern whilst he'd actually been saving Arthur AGAIN. It was hardly his fault Morgana had cursed him to kill Arthur.

And anyway, he'd hardly caused damage to Arthur, unless you count his dignity after the bath incident. Gwen was going to see that anyway at some point, so what was the problem? But of course, Arthur had to be the worlds biggest dollop head.

'What do you get if you cross brass with glass? Brass windows. That was a good one, wasn't it?' George was wearing that creepy grin again.

'Hilarious,' Merlin muttered sarcastically.

'I'm so glad you like my jokes, after all we're going to be spending a lot of time together, maybe we could be friends.'

Merlin shuffled even further away from George.

'Well, I think we've finished the polishing lesson, time to move onto my second favourite; mucking out the horses.'

Merlin inwardly groaned, thinking of the amount of horse poo related jokes he would hear in the next 2 hours.

Arthur really was going to die after Merlin had suffered his two weeks with George. And it was going to be a really painful death.
