CHAPTER ONE
"Ooooh... Now you've done it, Rai!"
"What exactly did I do?"
"You know what you did!"
"I don't!"
"I am going to KILL YOU!"
"Woah, calm down there partner."
"I will NOT calm down until Rai apologizes!"
"What did I do?!"
"How do you not REMEMBER?!"
"Pleeease stop the fighting, friends!"
"Stay out of this, OMI." The furious girl spat, shoving the small monk.
"Kimiko, please calm down. I know you are mad at Raimundo, but please, tell us why... " Omi looked up at Kimiko, rubbing a bruise on his head. Kimiko sighed.
"Well RAI had to be stupid and break my brand new cell phone that my dad gave me for my BIRTHDAY!"
"I didn't try to!"
"Of course you didn't." Kimiko crossed her arms.
"See? Now you two are getting along! If-" Omi was cut off by the door swinging open and smashing him into the wall. Dojo slithered in, the scroll tucked underneath his arm.
"Sorry, Omi!" The dragon apologized.
"What's so urgent, Dojo?" Kimiko rolled her eyes.
"You look as excited as my Uncle Marty when he sees my Mama made him his favorite chocolate cookies."
"There's a new 'Wu! It's called 'Aton's Lightbulb'. If you use it, it temporarily blinds your rival."
"Ain't that the bees knees!" Clay adjusted his hat.
"Bees don't have knees, stupid." Kimiko growled.
"You haven't seen the bees in Texas." Clay replied, shaking his head.
"What are we waiting for?!" Dojo exclaimed, growing multiple times his size. Everyone hopped on, and he flew off. The monks traveled for the next 45 minutes, until they spotted what they were looking for.
"There it is!" Omi shouted, hopping off the dragon's back. Everyone gasped, expecting Omi to splat on the ground, but he landed on his feet at the mountaintop. Raimundo shrugged and jumped off after Omi, everyone following after him.
"Wait... There's a certain annoying 'genius' missing... Doesn't it seem a little suspicious?" Kimiko remarked. The monks stood for minutes straight, waiting for the obnoxious teenager to pop out any moment, but nothing happened.
"Maybe he realized he would never win and quit?" Raimundo said hopefully.
"Jack Spicer is a worthy opponent... He wouldn't quit that easily..." Omi pondered.
"I reckon he's plannin' something big."
"I don't know, Clay." Omi shook his head and walked up to the lightbulb sticking out of the ground and grabbed it, half-expecting the ground to fall out from beneath his feet, but nothing happened. "Let's go home, friends." Omi shrugged. As the monks flew home, they felt somewhat dissapointed they didn't get the chance to beat up their wimpy rival.
"I'm going to bed." Raimundo declared the second they got back to the temple.
"But it is only 7:00!" Omi opposed, not tired at all.
"We're all tired, Omi. Remember you were the one who slept in today." Kimiko rolled her eyes once again. "Wait a second... RAI, DID YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH?" Kimiko stormed off to find Raimundo. "Rai?" She gasped.
