"Approved. Who is the second person?"
"Lia Phan, age sixteen, female..."
"Her power?"
"Putting people to sleep it seems, through her eyes..."
"I see. That's certainly a useful power..."
The rustling of papers.
"...but why is she labelled as a 'special case'?"
"...she can't control her powers."
"Well, if she can't control them, why was she even recommended as a Hero?"
"She was recommended as a 'Hero-in-training?"
"But that's-"
"Mayor, let's think this through."
"Huh?"
"Her powers as a NEXT could be very useful to us. We shouldn't let this opportunity go to a waste."
"...yes, you're right."
"But Mayor, it says here that her powers could stop working at any time?"
"A-ah, yes... that's a problem."
"Principal Massini of Hero Academy has said that he'd work this out, though."
"R-right..."
"Hm, I don't know-"
"There's a reason why it says 'Hero-in-training."
"But how will she be able to 'train'?"
"Massini said he'd figure that out too. She will stay behind the scenes as long as her powers aren't good enough for real use"
Silence.
"The verdict?"
There's a few murmurs, before finally, the Mayor nods, albeit a bit hesitantly. He looks to the people beside him for reassurance he gets immediately.
"...approved."
A/N: I have no idea how this Hero choosing goes about, but y'know.
The following chapters (if there will be any *there probably will) will contain deleted scenes from 'Hello', and also scenes that I think are cute but wouldn't fit in with the story - maybe, AU scenes. So here you go. If any of you guys are having withdrawal symptoms from Hello /nudges a certain person/ then look forward to this, even if these are only chapters my leftover inspiration creates.
