Kristy pressed herself against the brick wall, into the shadows as she heard Goyle's heavy footsteps approaching.
"Here kitty, kitty, kitty," Goyle cooed as he made his way down the alleyway. Steadying her hagrid breathing, Kristy fought against the powerful urge tobare her unusually long canines and hissat the foolish nickname the infamous Draco Malfoy himself appointed to her during her first year at Hogwarts. As she silently willed her racing heart to a calm pace, Kristy cursed herself for having such a cynical personality, which ended up putting her in the house of Slytherin, and ultimately here in this alleyway being chased by the "tres diablos" (three devils/demons); Crabbe, Goyle, and of course Draco.
Goyle's shadowed figure crept ever closer to her and Kristy drew in a breath. Just as his feet came into her view, Goyle paused and Kristy could hear him turn around.
"You find her Crabbe?" Goyle asked his roommate. Kristy could make out Crabbe's uneven breathing, as if he was just running.
"Draco wants us to go check the Shrieking Shack," Crabbe replied, gasping for air between the words. Goyle cursed under his breath.
"Alright, let's hurry then. If she tells anyone, especially Potter, we're done for."
Kristy smiled as the two ran off in the direction Crabbe had come from, safely away from her. Withdrawing herself from the shadows, Kristy crossed the walkway and reached for the brass knob of her new favorite coffee shop, "Dead Stop", when a flash of blonde hair caught her eyes through the foggy window. Keeping locked eyes with her pursuer, Kristy stepped back from the door slowly as he pushed the door open. The fiery charge in his eyes brought a smirk to Kristy's face. He scowled ather lack of respectand fear towards him, the mighty Draco. Deciding it was time to get back to "neutral" grounds before he closed the distance between the two of them, Kristy presented him with the one finger salute and disappeared with a sharp pop.
Draco sneered at the spot Kristy had taken up merely moments ago, before whispering to the wind, "Run while you can, sister. Soon you'll regret angering the Dark Lord."
