The small blonde jumped the gap between yet another building. Her lover was missing, had been for days. She had been searching the city for too long, kept calling into her normal job sick. She had the feeling that her boss didn't believe her reasons but she didn't care. Her sister was taking care of her daughter and her friends were perfectly capable of dealing with their job without her.

"Hold up girl," a loud voice called from behind her. The woman stopped and turned.

"Sofia," she whispered. Out of all of her friends she should have guessed.

"Come on Cat," Sofia said. "Did you really think that we wouldn't find you?"

"We?" Cat asked. Sofia was acceptable. She could after all read minds. But that the rest of her friends could find her meant that she'd been sloppy.

"We," another woman said.

"Sara," Cat said without turning around.

"And everyone else," the gruff voice of Jim Brass said as she turned around. Sure enough everyone was there. There was no need to ask how they got there. Sara could fly and had probably brought Sofia with her. Grissom and Jim had no doubt used the plane that the team used when they had a 'superhero' job to do. And for some strange reason Greg and the rest of the lab rats were able to climb vertical surfaces.

"Guys there was no need to come looking for me," she said.

"Warrick is our friend too," Sara pointed out. "We're going to find him. Together." Cat smiled.

"Fine," she sighed. "Follow me." She had managed to find out where he had been held and from that where he was currently. Everyone except for her and Sara piled into the plane. Cat ran and Sara flew behind her with the plane following. She leapt to the floor and as a team all of them went storming into the building. 10 minutes and the guys were left on the floor, the call was made to police and the team had left. On a roof nearby Warrick kissed Catherine firmly.

"I knew that my girl would find me," he whispered softly.
