So much had changed in these years following the Cell games for Android Eighteen. She had believed for so long that her life could never be restored into something worth living. Oh how fate had a way of changing things in ways not thought possible. Marriage to Krillin, well that had been delightfully unexpected. However, looking back she couldn't be more grateful that her stubborn pride had subsided long enough for her to say yes to him. She did love him. Slowly she became part of the Special Forces family; she appreciated all of them but was still leery. After all, they were all stronger than her now and after living the life she had she found it hard not to be apprehensive of being too weak to fight off someone or something.

The afternoon had been a quiet one, her husband and small daughter had gone off to Bulma's for the day. Leaving 18 to sit and enjoy some much needed quiet time. Master Roshi had made his way to visit with the Son family, giving her all the space Kame House had to offer. Needless to say, she found her peace and was now ready for her family to return. She was beginning to be restless. As if hearing her silent request, her family landed just outside.

"Hey hun, you enjoy your day?" asked Krillin as he juggled Marron and the things Bulma had sent him back with. Eighteen reached for her daughter and Marron let out a squeal excited to see her mother.

"Very nice," she responded, letting Marron down to run inside. She and Krillin made their way to sit on the porch.

"Bulma sends her well wishes. Marron played all day with Trunks and Goten. Those boys can be rough but they sure did like making sure Marron was safe. I think they may have worn her out," explained Krillin, leaning back into the chair. Eighteen sighed, she hoped those boys would keep it up, then she would never need to worry about her daughter being safe.

"I think I'll see what she is up to, she hasn't come back out and is being awfully quiet," she sighed, making her way inside. She looked through the house but saw no sign of Marron. Finally she spotted the light on in the bathroom. She opened the door and couldn't help but laugh. Marron had gotten into an old bottle of her father's hair gel and had her hair sticking straight up.

"Marron, what are you doing?"

Startled the little girl dropped the gel and jumped. She plastered a small grin on her face and prepared to answer her mother.

"Trunks and 'Ten's hair stands straight up momma and it changes colors! I wanna be just as strong as them!" exclaimed Marron. Eighteen could not stop laughing as her daughter paraded out to show off her new found strength. She toppled over a chair but her mother's reflex's caught her before she hit.

"You watch Momma, someday I'm going to be a big fighter too! You just wait and see!"

Eighteen just laughed but she saw the seriousness of the child and began to wonder, could she be? Perhaps. As the two made their way back out to where Krillin was, neither knew how serious that statement could be. But that would come later, for now they were content with laughter and being together.

A/N: I've had this idea in my head for days! After all, wouldn't Marron wonder why the boys could do things that she could not?? I'm thinking I'm going to write farther and make a sequel to this story (As hinted with the ending) but not now. Lemme know what you think! I appreciate reviewers!
