PROLOGUE
The story of Cinderella is a very well known story told for thousands of years all over the world. It is mostly told like this: Once there was a widower who remarried a woman who had two daughters. By his first wife the widower had a beautiful daughter who was kind and sweet tempered. One day the father died leaving the beautiful girl with her stepmother and stepsisters who turned out to be wicked and vain women. The stepmother forced the beautiful girl to do all the house work and when she was done she sat in the cinders which earned her the name Cinderella. One day the prince invited all the maidens of the court to a ball so he could find a wife. As the stepsisters got ready for the ball the stepmother and stepsisters took enjoyment in taunting Cinderella about the ball.
Cinderella cried as her stepsisters rode away to the grand ball. All of a sudden Cinderella's Fairy Godmother appeared and vowed to help Cinderella go to the ball. With her magical wand she turned a pumpkin into a carriage, mice into white horses, a rat into a coachman, and a dog into a footman. The Fairy Godmother then turned Cinderella's rags into a beautiful gown complete with an elegant pair of glass slippers. Then she told Cinderella that she may now go to the ball but only if she returned before midnight for the spell would be broken. At the ball, the entire court was entranced by Cinderella, especially the Prince who never left her side. Cinderella left at the stroke of midnight losing a glass slipper on the palace steps. The prince chased after her but only found her glass slipper. The prince then vowed to find and marry the maiden who fit the glass slipper.
Cinderella made it back at home and thanked her Fairy Godmother. She then greeted the Stepsisters who could talk of nothing but the conniving beautiful girl at the ball who stole the prince's attention
The Prince tried the glass slipper on all the maidens in the village. The stepsisters also tried on the glass slipper but it did not fit. Cinderella then asked if she could try on the slipper. The slipper fit perfectly, then Cinderella put on the other slipper returning the other slipper with it's mate. The Stepmother and stepsisters begged for forgiveness and mercy and Cinderella being the kind person that she is forgave them for their wrong doings .Cinderella returned to the palace where she married the Prince and lived happily ever after.
Unfortunately this story is false. Cinderella was not a kind sweet tempered woman who was mistreated as she has most of you believing. In reality Cinderella was a selfish, spoiled, ungrateful child who loved pitying herself. The real victims in this story were her poor step family who had to deal with this horrible brat her parents spoiled while the Fairy Godmother was only a nosey wench was enabling her and encouraging Cinderella's behavior. The real story goes something like this...
Do you like? This plot just popped in my head during a quizilla quiz when the authoress (forgot her name) said that Cinderella was actually spoiled and I thought it would make a good story. I know this story has been written on SasuxNaru fanfic a few times but I promise this will be different.
