It was a cloudy day
when the most curious phenomenon occurred. Robin had been cheery for
some time, and to say his behavior was unnerving the others would be
an understatement. He had not returned to helping the poor, and had
rather taken it upon himself to simply rob the rich, taking whatever
they had and spending whatever he took at a nearby inn. It was on
this cloudy day that the three men he rode with had enough. They held
onto him and told him to calm down. I am calm, what are you talking
about? They reminded him of his pledge to the poor and he laughed,
they spoke the words of the Koran and he ignored them, it wasn't
until the skies lit up with a flash of lightning and an echoey voice
called out that Robin paid attention. "Robin." "Marian?" "Robin,
you have forgotten me." Robin pulled himself free of the men
holding onto him, each puzzled about how he was talking to Marian,
fearing for his sanity. "No! How could I?" Tears began to
form in the young man's eyes. "You have forgotten who you
are, and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Robin. You are
more than what you have become. You must take your place in the
circle of life." "How can I go back? I'm not who I used to
be." With the last sentence his voice cracked, and a tear began to
roll down his face. "Remember who you are. You are my love,
and the lord of my heart. Remember who you are ..." As Robin heard
the words she spoke, her image began to fade with the clouds and
Robin, terrified, ran after the clouds. "No! Please! Don't
leave me!" Remember... . After Robin had flown after the clouds,
tearing across a field the others had run after him, only to see him
fall to his knees. "You said you'd always be there for me! But
you're not." At his whispered sentence, he felt a hand on his
shoulder and turned to see his men looking at him with love in their
eyes. It was John who finally spoke. "For every man, there
is a purpose for which he sets up in his life." Allan
continued. "Let yours be the doin' of all good deeds."
Then Much, in true Much fashion, finished off their support. "The
Koran." Robin looked at his men and smiled. "Come on lads,
lets go home." hehehe guess what inspired this ficcie!!
