Chapter 1
Lily Evans is at her house being pampered by her parents because she is about to go back to Hogwarts School for her 7th year. Her sister Petunia still holds a grudge on her because Lily got the letter and she didn't. Petunia now thinks Lily is weird and not normal because Lily is a witch.
Lily and her parents leave to go to Diagon Alley to get her new books and supplies for the year.
Meanwhile Sirius Black decides that he can't stand his family anymore, so he writes a letter to James potter saying:
Prongs,
The time has come. I can't stand my family one more day. Please meet me at Diagon Alley.

Sirius sent his owl off, then went and packed his bag, and set off for Diagon Alley. There he met up with James. "About time. I thought you would never leave." James said.
"I had to wait till everyone left till I could make my escape." Sirius replied.
"Well, look who we have here. It's my lucky day." James said.
"Who do we have here, Prongs?" Sirius asked.
"My love Lily." James replied.
"You still haven't gave up on her yet, mate?" Sirius asked.
Just then Remus Lupin walked up behind him and said, "What made you think he would?"
"I don't know, maybe he found a new girl to crush on over the summer, Moony." Sirius said.
As Sirius and Lupin were talking about their summer, James walked away to go ask out Lily.
Lily was talking to her mom, begging her if she could get an owl. "Mom, please, please, please can I have an owl?" she asked.
"No, we don't have enough money to get you one now, but maybe I can buy you one for your birthday." Her mom said and walked away.
James saw her mom walk away and took advantage of her being alone and walked up to her and said, "Do you want to go to Floregn Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor with me?"
"No, I would rather be dead then go to get ice cream with you." Lily replied.
After that Lily walked away leaving James in the dust, and she met up with her friends Becca Brown and Emily Bell.
"What have you been doing today?" Lily asked Emily and Becca.
"Nothing, just the usually shopping. What about you?" They said together.
"Shopping, and I ran into James Potter, and he wanted to go get ice cream with me, but I turned him down." Lily replied.
"I think you should give him a chance this year." Emily said to Lily.
"NOT IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I EVER GIVE POTTER A CHANCE!!!!!" she yelled.
"Well, I think you should give him a chance too." Becca said
The next day they all got on the Hogwarts Express and someone changed their mind.
