Kai was pulled by the arm by a happy Aichi, who was half dragging his lover to his friends. Reluctantly, Kai halfheartedly allowed himself to be pulled over even though he was afraid that his friends would be hostile towards him after harming them with the power of alone Joker. Luckily for him, his friends eagerly welcomed him back, giving him warm hugs.

"Kai~" greeted a cheerful Ren, waving a greeting. Kai couldn't help but smile at the redhead's silliness, who came over and hugged Kai's arm gently.

"Aichi.." Said boy turned around and looked curiously at the person who announced his name. His smile dropped a little at Kai's mournful gaze.

"Why do you forgive me? I know you idolize me and everything, but I feel like I haven't been completely forgiven yet, and you're pretending that everything bad is blown away now." The brunet muttered. Aichi gave him a confused look.

"I know you love me, Kai Kun."

Kai jumped, shocked. Aichi usually was oblivious to those things, surprised by even the most obvious statements. He didn't think Aichi was stupid, but the blue haired boy almost never noticed them, and a wide smile grew on Kai's face, his heart fluttering in happiness.

"Do you love me?" Kai breathed, pulling Aichi into an embrace.

Aichi smiled.

"Of course, Kai kun."

Kai felt like he was going to drift away with the wind, and in his happiness he hugged Aichi tightly, who choked a bit, but it was more of a noise of happiness.

"Please stay with me, Aichi." Kai pleaded, burying his face on Aichi's shoulder, feeling like a pillow. Aichi smiled.

"Of course, Kai kun."

Kai smiled, feeling comforted, and closed his eyes.

Kai wanted to hug the warmth tighter and keep it with him forever. He moved his arms to embrace it more, only to find that he was hugging himself, and he started to feel cold and empty. Kai opened his eyes, only to find that his lover wasn't there. Confused, Kai looked around for the blue haired boy, when he apprehended the reality.

Aichi was gone.

Kai's arms sadly drooped as he slumped, feeling the same lament he felt when his parents died.

I was only daydreaming...
