Willie was tired of having to clean up after Barnabas and Julia everytime they went to save the Collins Family! Like this last time when Barnabas, Julia, and Professor Stokes came back from 1840, the place was dirty from the clothes that Barnabas had left laying around because he thought he didn't have to do anything to help keep the Old House clean.
Willie was rehearsing his speech that he was going to give Barnabas tonight since he was out with Julia again. Granted Barnabas finally admitted that he loved Julia, and Julia was very happy to hear this, but come on! How about giving Willie a break with keeping the Old House clean! Well, he was going to give Barnabas his speech, and then go out with the new love of his life Darlene! He was going to enjoy himself, and planned on not coming back home until the next day!
He heard the front door open, and heard Julia and Barnabas's voice going into the Drawing Room. He decided this was the time to make his move! He left his room and headed downstairs to have it out with Barnabas once and for all! He saw the look on Barnabas's face that he had not cleaned up anything while Barnabas was gone. Barnabas had turned to face Willie, and started to speak to him.
"Willie, I…" Barnabas to say before being interrupted.
"Now you list'n her' Barnabas! I'm tired of havin' ta take yur orders all da time! I'm going out ta hav' sum fun with Darlene whetda' youse like it or not! I'm tired of havin' ta clean up afta' you when youse havta save da Collins Family! You com' back her' and make a mess, ands expect me ta clean up afta you! Well no more! I'm going out tonight an' youse can't stop me! And if ya don't like it, then I hav' one ting ta say ta you! You can put your Lips stra.., stra.., on my Pos…, Pos…, Butt, and Kiss it repeatedly! Goodbye!" Willie said before leaving and slamming the door on his way out.
Both Julia and Barnabas looked at each other in shock over what had happened!
"Barnabas, this isn't the first time that Willie stood up to you. He didn't even give you a chance to tell him the news what you were going to plan now." Julia said to Barnabas.
"I know. I was going to tell him that I'm glad that he didn't clean up, and that he could take the night off with all the work he has done around here. I guess with him doing everything, it finally caught up with him. I'll wait till the sometime tomorrow to tell him that I'm going to start paying him and that he could have a choice of either living here, or on his own. He'll be calmer tomorrow after he's been with Darlene now. I know that he's been talking about her while working and I've been listening to him. I hope that he'll listen to what I have to say to him now." Barnabas said with remorse in his voice.
"I'm sure that tomorrow he'll listen and be very happy with the news that you will give him." Julia said with a smile on her face.
"Yes, that you and I plan to get married soon, and that Willie will be my Best Man. I would like to have the ceremony either at Collinwood or here in the Old House. But the choice is yours to make Julia. I will go by whatever decision you make on this." He said with a smile on his face.
"I think I would like to have it…" Julia started to tell Barnabas.
Barnabas heard where Julia would like to have the wedding, but his mind was on Willie as well. Hopefully Willie will hear that he was going to start paying him and treating him as an equal in everything that will happen for now on. And that he was going to leave the Old House to Willie if anything should happen to him and Julia, for now he felt Willie was a good friend to him like Ben Stokes was to him for and after he became a Vampire. He was going to do right to Willie, and he was going to live up to that promise for now on!
