Fluffy Channy fanfic about the events following Sonny in the Kitchen with Dinner. It just occurred to me that I forgot my disclaimer on my other two fics. So…
I, Miss Mandi Christelle, do not in any way own Sonny With a Chance or any characters belonging to the before mentioned show.
This story is dedicated to my sister Ali, who is totally AWESOME!
Being Sick Can Lead to More
Chad leaned over the toilet, his stomach about ready to empty its contents again. He had shown up at Sonny's apartment after an unfortunate incident involving her cell phone and the garbage disposal lead him to believe that she was in danger. He winced, recalling the spoiled sandwiches that had put him into this mess in the first place. Just then, a head of brunette hair stepped into the bathroom.
"Hey Chad. You need anything?"
The ill actor thought for a second. "Uh, can I lie down?"
"Of course. You know, I'm really sorry that those sandwiches made you sick. You look really bad," Sonny whispered, smiling wanly.
On any other day Chad would respond with a snarky comment, but the questionable feeling in his stomach warned him otherwise. "It's okay. I feel better than I look."
The two teens walked to Sonny's bedroom. "Here Chad. You can lie down on my bed. I'm going to get you some stuff to help you feel better, alright?"
Chad nodded; for fear that his stomach would be turned inside out again. After a few quiet minutes, Sonny returned with a bottle of Tums, a thermometer, and a down pillow.
"I thought that I should check your temperature," Sonny suggested.
Chad opened his mouth and allowed Sonny to slide the thin plastic stick under his tongue.
"Wow Chad. 102.7 degrees. You managed to get yourself sick now didn't you."
After taking some medicine to soothe the pain in his abdomen, Chad settled in under the comfortable yellow blanket on Sonny's bed. To his surprise, she slid right in next to him (not that Chad was complaining).
Laughing, Sonny turned towards her sick friend. "Don't get any funny ideas, Cooper," she warned. "I'm next to you because well, I need a place to sleep and this is much cozier than the couch."
Chad returned with a chuckle. "You know Munroe, I could get used to this hospitality. Could we make this a regular thing?"
Sonny pondered carefully. "Well, Chad, if this is your way of asking me out, then yes. This could be a regular thing."
"Fine"
"Fine"
"Good"
"Good"
"So are we good?"
Sonny leaned in and kissed Chad on the cheek "Oh yes Chad. We are so good."
