She's not going to lie; she really misses Sam Evans. She misses the way he kissed her cheek and held her hand. She misses the way he always made her feel beautiful and she misses the way he always made her feel happy. Quinn screwed up big time kissing Finn. Sure, it was hot and exciting to reunite there old flame, but that's what it was… a flame. Flames always burn out one way or another. Quinn had everything she could ever dream of with Sam, but she threw it all away for some temporary sexiness with Frankenteen and lost it all.

With only a little bit of school left, she feels as if she should be happy. After all, she would soon be free and could avoid all the people she couldn't stand, but still, she was lonely and had to see them. Sam and Mercedes. Quinn wonders why Mercedes always ends up dating her boyfriends (first Puck, now Sam), but is happy for the two of them. She just wishes she hadn't cheated and that she was still Sam's girlfriend. Quinn can just tell that "Samcedes" won't last very long, but she knows that doesn't mean she'll have a chance with her trouty mouthed ex.

Honestly, she's kind of relieved that she's done with Finn. She was originally planning on throwing the competition in retaliation for wooing-her-away-from-Sam-only-to-go-back-to-Rachel, but then with the help of Santana and Brittany, she decided not to further destroy herself because of her insecurities. Finn was a good guy, just not one that she was in love with. Making out with him in the auditorium probably was the dumbest decision she's ever made behind having unprotected sex with Puck.

Speaking of Puck, the boy's been eying her up lately. Quinn tells herself she's just hallucinating, but the kid, despite dating Lauren, still has feelings for his baby momma. Quinn wishes she reciprocated those feelings, because in her heart she knows if Sam never entered the picture her and Puck would have a happily ever after. Unfortunately, things don't always work out the way you want them to, and Quinn just hopes Puck doesn't break Lauren's heart for her. Nobody else needs to get hurt.

One morning she's late for school and has to get ready in a hurry. She throws on the first thing she pulls out of her closet, which is unsurprisingly a sundress, and heads out the door, thankful that she's close enough to school to walk there. It's not until she enters the school that she realizes she's wearing the dress that Sam bought her for their three month. He got it because it was a pale green-blue that brought out her eyes, his favorite physical feature of hers. (She swears, all her boyfriends go to Rachel asking her for help about what brings out her eyes. First the dress with Sam, then the corsage for prom…) She's been careful not wear the dress outside her house for obvious reasons, and she prays Sam won't notice.

She walks past Sam and Mercedes, trying to watch them yet hide from them at the same time. Mercedes notices her and calls her over to the two of them. Cursing under her breathe, Quinn walks over and engages in casual conversation with Mercedes. It's not hard at all for her to tell that Sam noticed. He stares for a quick moment, before looking away and taking up a faraway expression.

"Quinnie, you ok? You seem a little off today," Mercedes says.

"I'm fine, I'm just not feeling well. I'll see you two later," she answers, not really lying. She didn't like seeing the two of them holding hands and her head hurt from not having time for breakfast. She swears, she saw concern in Sam's face as she walked away.

She was going to get him back.
