Poppet always blushed afterward. Whether she kissed Bailey, Bailey kissed her, they held hands, or even if he simply dragged his fingers through her hair. She even blushes after she initiates something, which she usually does. She even blushes when Widget would come see her afterward, unable to hide strong emotions from him has always been a problem which blushing hasn't ever alleviated. In fact it only makes things more obvious.

She was usually able to hide her blush, behind the red hair it blended with or in the initiation of the game "catch me". Though that ability for Poppet has too been dwindling as Bailey has been learning to read her.

Bailey was actually making her blush more often lately. He became more courageous, or maybe more mature. He was still earnest and kind. Just without that sense of loss or naivety that he had when he first arrived. Either way his new found courage wasn't improving the situation.

Well at least the blushing situation. It did have a tendency to improve her mood when he would spontaneously pull her into his arms. Or carry her to the most isolated corner of a new tent. It calmed her when he ran his finger through her hair. At first he was so hesitant about it all.

Besides whenever he caught her blushing, he would wear the happiest and silliest grin for the rest of the day.

So maybe, just maybe, blushing wasn't so bad.

This is my second story, comment, rate, constructive criticism always welcome and all other forms of criticism too. In fact anything is welcome.
