Atheist

Whenever you would hear the names Seishiro Sakurazuka and Syaoran, they would immediately think that they are different. They would place the hunter within the dark light while they would place the boy in a holy light. They thought it would be pure and simple.

They, that is, the teacher and the student, are different in many ways; the hunter was seeking the sacred feathers for only power while the boy was seeking the feathers to revive the memories of his dearly beloved.

Seishiro chose to fight in the dark side, while Syaoran chose to fight in the light:

People fail to realize, or blind themselves to, the very fact showing how similar those two actually were. They were sick of their own lives, the drudgery and sadness of dreams unfulfilled, and the mundane cycles that the thought would lead to something extraordinary to be disappointed in the end.

They were both abused by their own human race during childhood and hate them because of that. The hunter, in fact, suffered more than the boy, which began his deepest loathing of the race of his own kind.

They both survived death many times: the hunter on his quest for the vampire twins, and the boy when fighting against him, amongst other opponents on his journey.

The hunter and the boy were both tricked by a fabricated prophecy that threw both their worlds into a never-ending maze of secrets and truths that sought to destroy them.

Finally, and most importantly, they both sought the feathers, the feathers of which princess Sakura, who the boy loved dearly, was to have so that her memories would be revived, and that the hunter would travel multiple dimensions for he would fin the one that he would go to the ends of the earth for.

They both wanted to change the worlds around them, and nothing was going to get in their way, not even each other. They would become gods in the power that they sought, even destroy the existing deity and say that it no longer existed, therefore the atheist would be born here.

The hunter and the boy may seem to be complete opposites, but they might see that a mentor tried to defy the all powerful while the student wanted to become a god, the goals are the same. They would soon that the ones named Seishiro and Syaoran were not so different after all.
