Don't own Pirates, never will... yada yada... on with the story!

The screams at Whitecap Bay were deafening. Shrieks of fury, grief, anger, and loss dominated the usually peaceful atmosphere. The underwater cavern which the inhabitants of the bay lived in, was a bustling mess as several mermaids were forced onto the rocks, into their human forms in order to be healed.

Tamara, the beautiful queen, was snarling as her sisters tried desperately to heal her. "How many dead?"

"Four." Annalisa, her sister said mournfully. "The fire, it was too much. They were caught in the debris."

Tamara shrieked again, her hands digging into rock as her sisters tried to patch her wound. She looked around, seeing others wounded. The attack had injured several of the sisters, which was nearly unheard of. Very few things could harm them like this. "How could this happen? We've never had an attack like this."

"Tamara, there's more." Annalisa's lips curled into a savage frown, "They've taken one of the younger ones. For the Fountain."

A young red head working on Tamara's bloody stomach was harshly knocked away in Tamara's fury. "Animals! Savages!" she screeched, "They'll leave her to burn in the heat once they get what they want from her."

Siobhan, the red head, quickly resumed her work and whispered, "We can do nothing for her now."

Tamara looked down, shaking her blonde head. "No. We can do nothing for her. Five sisters' dead, by human hand."

"Tamara!" A voice echoed from the other side of the cavern, "There's another ship! It's coming towards us now."

Tamara looked toward Annalisa, her second in command, "Kill them. All of them, let no one live. For our sisters."

Annalisa nodded. She yelled for all unharmed mermaids, and led them out of the cavern for an attack.

At this moment, Tamara, vicious queen of the mermaids, was nothing more than a vengeful sister who now had to grieve for her murdered family.

Mmmkay, well that was the product of about 15 minutes of boredom.

It was just a little thing because I believe that despite the brutal, malicious nature of mermaids, they act as a family and would be horrified at the deaths of their sisters.
