Mira was something special. Taylor knew this the moment he laid eyes on the woman in front of him. Strong and fearless especially when it came to standing by her beliefs but it was the very thing that attracted him to her that would keep them apart. Tonight she is about ten yards away from the back gate at the moment. Far enough for her not to be a threat but close enough so that Taylor can see her.

The man leans forward over the railing of his balcony as the woman moves into the shadow of a nearby tree. There is a small bathing pool beneath it. Fresh water from the latest rainstorm gathered into a dented boulder. With the intense heat of that day there is no doubt that the water is still warm evidence of which was the light steam that rose from it. Swallowing the man felt himself harden as she stood over the open tub. It's the same thing every night and Taylor never misses a show.

Mira doesn't look at him when she moves keeping her eyes directed to the small pool. She slips off her shirt first revealing a tattered binding around her chest. A sort of make shift bra and the man gives a mental note that he will have to send her something more suitable. Gingerly she unwraps the cloth allowing her breast to fall freely. Two inviting Coa coa orbs that leave Nathaniel's hands twitching in memory.

The jeans come second. The tight fabric rolled down from hip to ankle until she is able to step from it.

Beneath the moon the woman's skin glows. The gentle brown of her coloring radiating under the orb's light. It is a sight that makes the man wish for earlier days. Yearn for those precious hours they spent less than a year before when his fingers were never more than an inch from hers in private.

The water only reaches her belly when the woman sits. Her hands take turns pulling up liquid to rub over her skin and Taylor thinks he hears a sigh but knows that at this distance hearing such is impossible.

Placing a thumb to her face Mira carefully removes the war paint from beneath her eyelids and just below her cheeks. This is the only time she allows her true beauty to be shown and Taylor feels a sense of Pride for being the one to see it. Her eyes seem so much bigger now. Young, innocent.

He thinks maybe this will be the time he joins her but the moment ends all too soon when she raises from the pool, no doubt the result of some internal clock because as Nathaniel checks his watch he sees that it is the same hour as the night before.

Letting out a low sigh he leans against his door and watches as the woman redresses. Lifting her ever present gun she checks the barrel before turning away from the camp. Walking a bit she stops and does what Nathaniel has been waiting for. She looks. Not a long stare but just enough for Taylor to know it was for him.

He has missed his chance tonight but tomorrow will be another.
