"Are you okay?"
She smiles as she nods her head, "Yes."
His brows furrow. She turns her back against him. His light blue gaze never leaves her amethyst ones. She tenses at the scrutiny. With a final, surrendering sigh, he runs a hand on his blonde locks and his features softens.
One step.
Two steps.
Three steps.
He envelops her in his arms.
"Are you honestly alright?"
After a split moment of stillness, she buries her face in his chest. Her body trembles, betraying her strength. She hangs on to his shirt, not minding if it crumples. She fights hard to speak the words she swears she would never utter. And with a single breath, and a cracking voice, she let out whisper, "I'm not."
He pulls her closer to him, his head rests on her own. He kisses her raven hair and inhales her scent.
"I could tell."
With that, her composure breaks down, her tears continuously fall, and for the longest time she has ever remembered, she cries her heart out.
Under his drenched shirt and her muffled sobs, he tightens his grip around her, letting her know that it's okay - that she could be weak when she's with him, that she could rely on him, and that he will always be there to hold her, to stop her from breaking into pieces.
And he would never mind it one bit.
Author's Notes:
Hello!
Does anybody know how where to find/how to put the linebreak when using mobile the mobile app? I've been searching the web but nobody has answers. I'm thinking it's not yet available :( Goodness, obviously.
Anyway, I'd love it if you'd be able to give me some prompts. Here's the format:
Genre: Hurt/Comfort, Humor, Romance, Friendship
Setting:
Dialogue:
Pairing:
You can choose among the three. Please consider that those written above are the only genre that I can currently write. And yeah, there are times that I'd want to use other characters, so unless it's necessary, you can name your characters. No clichés, please!
I really want to hone my writing and I hope any of you could help me with whatever you can help me with. Hahaha
Sincerely,
April
