A Christmas one. Slightly sad, but at least they have each other.

I don't own the Avengers, or Christmas.

Christmas is a time of cheer, to be with your friends an family.

It was a time which hit the Avengers most.

Clint remembered a time when he an his brother got along like a house on fire, and Christmas was a jolly affair.

Natasha had never celebrated it as a child. Of course not, why would they, in red room?

Tony's childhood Christmas was him being told to go away by his father, and his mother never took much notice of him either. He got all the presents a child could want, except one. His families love and attention.

Thor missed Asgard. He could go back for Christmas, but there is no such thing there. And he would have to face Loki's absence. He missed his brother immensely, no one ever saw his tears.

Bruce had had only one Christmas with Betty before he went on the run. Since then he had never stayed in an one place to bother putting up a tree.

Steve reminisced of his own time. Christmas. A a simple festival, not filled with gimmicks and cheap programs. And Peggy.

Christmas was a time for them to think back on their past, and looked forward to the future. At least they could look together.
