Revised from Lk's term paper.

Ever thought of asking yourself who you are? Who am I?

Who am I?

A question so innocent yet is very hard to answer. A personality, uniqueness or originality, who am I? I am me. More specifically I am Shinji Ikari, born of my parents, who were born of their parents.

The answer stated above is obviously true, but it doesn't really answer who I am, just a name given to me and other information. In other words that's who I am, but really isn't who makes me, me.

I am who I am for I am me. Confusing? Let me elaborate. The self has two sides. The self, the me in another person's mind and the me as I understand myself to be.

People might think of me as nice, bad, good, evil or other alternate ideas.

The me in another person's mind that is the me in other people's thoughts, in their own definition or perspectives. That itself has so many realities, it could vary from one person to another because not all people have the same perspective. The me in their mind may range infinitely. That's one aspect of me that makes myself.

The me that I define myself as, or the me that I see myself as is also another. This is the I that define me. This is the me that I see myself as. The me that I believe myself to be, my own definition of myself, my own understanding of me.

These two makes up the self. The me in other peoples thoughts and the me in my own mind. That's who I am.

I am what make me special not the other way around.

I am me, the me in your thoughts

I am I, the me in my world

That is what makes myself, both combined

That's who I am, as the world accepts me

I am I

I am I
