Mick working on a case involving the Internet seeks out help from the beautiful woman name Beth Turner who investigates Internet crimes and his clues take them to the place mostly unlikely to but Mick seeking an answer anyways tells Beth that the latest clue to the crime he is investigating has to take him on a flight to a city call Forks Washington , there he continued his investigation and while staying at a local hotel he and Beth have dinner as just across from them were sitting Carlisle and Esme who had decided to take Edward Cullen up on his offer too try more things not related to the vampires or the world of vampires he turn as he saw Esme and nodded to Beth .
' Her face looks familiar what do you think ? ' he asked her as Beth reached for her purse and pull out a picture that had Esme's face displayed there and she agreed Esme was the one they were investigating . In Forks in fact there had been reports of homeless poor or people that society would forget about all together and to had been in fact killed or murdered , some even with punctured holes in their necks and Mick knew what he had to do but he was still attracted to Beth and was going to show her a good time if it killed him .
Esme look at Carlisle,' We have new people in Forks it seems,' she'd said as she had noticed that Carlisle was watching Beth out of the corner of his eyes and he nodd ,' Yes it seems we do .' Esme excused herself from the table as she headed for the women's bathroom, but in fact she turned and walked outside .In her anger as it had been over the last month or so Esme not wanting to take it out on the rest of the Cullen family or Bella when she came over to see Edward had in fact gone out and in her anger over Carlisle's rejection of her she would lashed out her anger on an unsuspecting victim as they were wandering the streets of Forks now she waited just behind the diner where they were eating Carlisle probably thinking she just went home had gone that way but Esme waited and she had expected . The woman that was called Beth had come out alone and Esme confronted her but in her anger state of emotions Esme took a deep breath and attack Beth pulling her to one side where no one would see her and as she was about to bite her on the neck Carlisle had come out along with Mick the rest of the customers of the diner . Mick knew he had to find Beth as he started looking for her .
Esme turned and gathered herself leaving Beth there she'd returned home and avoided Carlisle or the rest of the family not telling what she did at all because she regretted deeply she attacked Beth but knew that was her vampire instincts that did that and not her .Still she felt uneasy about what she did to Beth Turner .
