"Nonchalant: /nänSHəˈlänt/ adjective (of a person or manner) feeling or appearing casually calm and relaxed; The realization hadn't hit him like a ton of bricks like one might think. He was simply…nonchalant."
nonchalant
He was calmer than he should've been.
Or so he thinks, at least. It wasn't as though it was a shocking revelation, to say the least. Although slightly unexpected, it didn't really impact him in any way. He would still break into her house every night, she would still get fussy for no reason and kick him out, Happy would still tease them relentlessly, and the three of them would still go on jobs together. It wasn't a big deal.
All he knows is that sometime, someway he fell for her. Hard. But it didn't change anything.
He was still Natsu, and she was still Lucy.
Nothing would change, because the love they silently knew they had for each other was powerful enough.
I wrote this a while ago and didn't have the drive to lengthen it, so enjoy this terrible drabble.
