It's Been Three Days: A Honeymoon Tale
Jean wandered out of the en suite, rubbing at her damp hair with an impossibly plush towel. She smiled at her softly snoring husband, who was sprawled across the large bed of the honeymoon suite, deliciously nude. Jean tossed the towel to the side, taking advantage of the rare opportunity to have someone clean up after her, and tightened the sash of her dressing gown.
"Lucien," she whispered, climbing onto the mattress.
No response.
"Luc-i-en," she sang, a little louder.
Nothing.
She leaned down and placed her lips directly against his ear. "Lucien!"
"What do you want, wife?" Fast as lightning, Lucien wrapped his arms around her and rolled, his large body pushing hers deep into the blankets.
Jean gasped at his sneak attack and pushed at his broad shoulders. "None of that now, husband," she laughed. "The show starts in an hour and you still need to shower!"
"Let's skip the show and stay in," he breathed into her neck, busy fingers working at the knot in her dressing gown.
"Stay in?! Lucien, it's been three days since we left this room!" She batted his hands away and slipped out from under him to stand at the foot of the bed.
"I know," he leered at her. "How about another three?" He bounded out of bed and grabbed for her.
Jean squirmed away before putting her foot down. "You promised me a West End musical, Lucien Blake! Now, into the shower with you," she ordered.
"I suppose we could go out for a few hours." With an affected sigh, Lucien sauntered toward the bathroom. Pausing in the doorway, he turned to look over his shoulder, knowing he would catch his wife ogling his bum. "But then we're coming back here and I'm keeping you in this bed for no less than a week!" He winked at her blushing face before disappearing into the bathroom.
Jean smiled to herself and turned to start getting ready. A London show and then a week in bed with her husband. Absolute heaven.
