Death the Kid was calmly walking down the streets of Death City when he suddenly found his path blocked by two shadows. They detached themselves from the walls and approached him, standing right next to each other. For a moment all three studied each other; Death the Kid, with his striped hair and formal suit, and the two unknowns, obviously twins evidenced by their matching hair, postures, their...everything. Suddenly the twins raised their arms in sync, eyes wild.
"ASYMMETRICAL SCUM!"
Death the Kid gaped; were those twins pointing at him?
Oh. Wait. His hair. Okay, so the Lines of Sanzu were still incomplete. So what?
"You don't deserve to live!" one twin screeched.
"Garbage, asymmetrical garbage!" his copy wailed. Both bared down on Kid, eyes sending out bolts of lightning as they grabbed for his offending hair.
Kid, to his credit, tried to get away, but several things made him hesitate. For one thing, he was too shocked to think straight. For another, he was a grim reaper. Nothing they could do would be dangerous to him. Kid even found himself curious, wondering how they had fallen so deeply into the Madness of Order.
Eventually it was their hands, tight around his arms, that convinced Kid to play nice. As annoying as they were, he did not wish to break any bones today.
Meanwhile, the twins had been dragging him through Death City's streets, apparently looking for something. Finally they seemed to spot it—their amber eyes gleamed in mischief. The twins let go of Kid, ran forward, grabbed something, and ran back to him just as he stopped looking around to see where he was. Laughing madly, they simultaneously dumped a bucket of black paint over his head.
For several moments Kid just stood there with paint dripping down his face, gaping in utter shock. Didn't they realize who they were dealing with?!
Both twins cackled, raising their hands to form identical rectangles with their fingers as though taking a photo of him. They smirked at the grim reaper.
"Now you are completely symmetrical!" they shouted in unison. Laughing like maniacs, they sped down the street at dizzying speeds, leaving Kid standing by the now empty bucket of paint trying to figure out what the heck just happened.
