A/N

Well, I have a feeling I will regret this later, but this story's dedicated to a person I hope will never see it. Nothing more to say really.

"A dog, is there any doubt?"

Shikamaru laughed at her reply. "I know. I was just wondering if you thought Kiba would be anything else."

"Enthusiastic, Strong sense of smell, acts almost like a canine, and those sharp teeth of his." Temari smirked. "What other animal personality would fit him?"

"True," Shikamaru replied, lying back down on the grass, closing his eyes. "Who else?"

"Um," Temari looked up into the sky in thought. "Hinata."

"Easy, she's a rabbit."

"A rabbit? I always thought she was more like a guinea pig, or a mouse."

Shikamaru opened an eye and looked at her. "Guinea pig?"

She crossed her arms. "Okay maybe not a guinea pig, but I still think she's a mouse. Timid, shy, almost seems to squeak when surprised. Not to mention she's so quiet as well."

"Well I still see a rabbit. They're timid as well, they try to be conservative, and they're very soft, cute animals. Hinata is definitely soft and she's always been the innocent one."

"Rabbits seem to be more cautious then timid."

"And Hinata isn't cautious?"

Temari let out a soft sigh of amusement. "I guess you're right. How about she's a rabbit and also a mouse."

Shikamaru closed his eye again. "Makes sense."

Shikamaru stayed silent for a while, thinking. "Chouji."

Temari's eyes widened slightly and instinctively looked around her, just in case. "You can't tell him I said this."

Shikamaru smirked, eyes remained closed.

"A pig."

He laughed, already expecting the answer, "Alright, I don't think we need to discuss why."

Temari rolled her eyes. "There are other reasons you know. Big boned, strong, and knows how to have fun."

"If it helps you sleep at night to say so..." Shikamaru smiled.

Temari was about to reply, but realised it was best to just save her breath. Instead, she moved in closer to him.

"How about me?" He asked.

Temari grinned. "A koala."

"A koala?"

"Yep, a koala. They're lazy, low in energy, seem very boring, and just hang around doing nothing but sleep or gaze around."

"Gee, thanks."

Temari smiled slyly. "What about me?"

Shikamaru opened his eyes and sat up. "You're a cat."

"How so?"

"Cats are defensive, unpredictable, demanding, mischievous, meticulous, and overall, are troublesome and annoying."

Annoyance began to rise to Temari's face.

"But cats, like you, have their good sides."

The annoyance was replaced with curiosity.

"Cats are intelligent and independent creatures. They are slender and graceful, They know how to relax," he paused and smirked. "at times anyway."

She eyed him with slight frustration. Ignoring it, he continued.

"But they still always look their most beautiful and best. They have eyes that always seem to glow, and show a sense of curiosity. Even though they can act fiercely and threatening at times, they can be soft and loving as well."

He looked a her. "That's why you're the graceful, intelligent, and beautiful cat. My graceful, intelligent, and beautiful cat."

Temari blushed and gave him one of her rare embarrassed smiles, causing him to smile warmly back.

They leaned forward and shared a passionate kiss.

"So," he began once there lips unlocked. "Am I still a lazy koala?"

She giggled. "Yep. But don't worry, you're my cute, lazy koala."

He chuckled slightly and laid back down, closing his eyes once again.

Shikamaru smiled. "Okay then, who's next?"

End.
